Penguins will be extinct very soon

In this article, “Antarctic warming to reduce animals at base of ecosystem, shift some penguin populations southward,” the author reports that global warming pushes penguin populations southward. In this article a researcher, Lyons, said “the marine ecosystems respond dramatically to increases in temperatures.” The temperature causes the krill to become less. Penguins come to have less food to eat. Another thing that causes penguin populations to go southward is the sea ices melt, because the sea ices melt causes penguins to come to have no land to live on. Finally, the points are that less food and sea levels rising are the two bigger things to cause penguins to be endangered. These things push penguins to migrate to other places.

Global warming affects a lot of things. Penguins are the one of animals that gets affected by global warming. Global warming causes climate change and the temperatures to rise. These things cause animals to be unable to live in their own place. Warming is a serious effect for penguins and other animals who live around water. We cannot let these things become worse and worse. If we keep all wing it to become worse, penguins are going to be extinct, because of their food chain, sea levels and the pollution into the sea.

First, warming broke penguins’ food chain. In our biosphere every species has its own food chain to live. But global warming broke it. Global warming changes the climate and makes the temperatures rise. It pushes every species to be unable to adapt to their environment. Some species will die and some will change to a new place to be alive. So, everything will become less and less. The food chain got changed, so naturally it influences penguins’ life.

Second, the sea levels’ rising makes the sea ice go away. Global warming changed the temperatures. The temperature is getting warm enough to make sea ice melt. Therefore, the sea ice’s becoming less and less causes penguins to have no land to live on. Now, penguins are going to find new sea ice to live on and also dead with a lack of food. Therefore, one-day penguins will be extinct.

Third, some pollution goes into the sea to destroy penguins’ ecosystems. The industrial pollution, and oil industry populates the sea. These kinds of pollution make water quality such that some species can’t live in it. It makes species die and penguins cannot live in these kinds of tainted water. Therefore, they become less and less.

In conclusion, the food chain, sea levels and the pollution into the sea are the same thing. Actually these things are in a circle and they are connecting. One thing influences another thing to happen. It is a very serious problem. Therefore, we cannot let these things become worse and worse. If we do not care about it carefully, penguins will become extinct very soon.
